Approach

To tackle the Xylotek project, I adopted a methodical approach that involved creating CMS-powered dynamic prototypes to ensure that each area of the site worked technically. By doing this, I was able to test and refine the site's functionality before importing data using the Webflow CSV import feature.

This allowed the Xylotek team to populate the site with project data, including images for the project photo galleries, well before the site was launched. This approach streamlined the process and allowed us to quickly launch the site while ensuring its technical integrity.

Tools

To meet the needs of the Xylotek project, the site required custom filters for its projects section. These filters were created using custom code along with the Webflow CMS. Additionally, the site's project sections needed to include photo galleries for each project, with a connected lightbox feature to allow users to view the images in fullscreen.

This feature allowed the site to showcase their timber construction and design projects in an engaging and visually compelling way.

The Jobs section of the Xylotek website was designed to showcase all their job offerings, and with the Webflow CMS, they are able to manage every aspect of the site in-house.

The Jobs section needed to have a clean and organized layout with easy navigation to job descriptions and application instructions. Using the Webflow CMS, we were able to create a custom job posting template that allowed Xylotek to quickly and easily add new job postings to their site.
